The UNO Charter School Network (UCSN) is open to all children who reside in Chicago, on a space-available basis within each grade. The school does not discriminate on the basis of intellectual or athletic ability, measures of achievement or aptitude, disability, proficiency in English, or any other basis prohibited by law. When outlined by the District, geographic enrollment boundaries may be enforced. Students are admitted to the UCSN by blind lottery.

There are no admission requirements and no tests of any sort are given to determine whether or not admission is granted. Tests are used to determine group placement once students are enrolled. Once all available slots are filled, applicants will be placed on the waitlist. Students will be admitted from the waitlist as places become available in each grade. Preference is given to siblings of enrolled students when possible. Where applicable, students living within attendance boundaries are given priority. Placement from the waitlist is by lottery.
